The image is an original work, designed by the artists: Nan Kilgore
Little & Jonathan N. Little. The Artists retains the Copyrights on
the image. The purchaser, [client], is granted Exclusive rights to
the image, allowing unlimited number of copies of the image, but
restricted to the project for which the image was designed. No
alterations to the image shall be done with the exception of re-scaling,
and the artist's signature & date must be reproduced with the image.
The image is not to be reproduce for resale, or FOR PROFIT
projects. Any changes to the previous conditions require the written
permission of the Artists and a re-negotiation of the Copyright agreement.
All this means is that we created the logo exclusively for you, and you can make as many copies as you like for your personal use. The alteration clause means that we are proud of our work, and that we want to be the ones to make the changes to the design if required so that we can maintain the quality of our work. If you need any changes to your logo, please contact us. With phone area codes changing almost monthly these days and zip codes closely following suit changes are inevitable. Most changes we can do quickly and there will be no charge. More extensive changes may involve a very reasonable fee. We technically still own the copyright of your logo. This is not to tie you up or to guarantee us future business, but more to help us maintain the quality and consistency of the design. It is an artist integrity thing!
